Evenex®—unrivalled timber look and feel in an environmentally friendly Australian made panel. Unlike laminates and vinyls, Evenex is made of wood fibre, not plastic and contains no formaldehyde, PVC or melamine. Evenex is the perfect choice for use in spaces where air quality is a priority such as: caravans, Greenstar, education, health, child and aged care projects, in fact any area sensitive to the polluting impact of interior products will appreciate its FSC® certification, E0 rating and resistance to mould and micro-organisms.
Made with pure wood fibre, printed with a perfectly synchronised texture, Evenex has a polished finish like timber veneer making it near impossible to tell apart from the real thing. Ideal for interior vertical and light duty horizontal surfaces in residential and commercial applications; kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes, furniture, doors and wall panelling all benefit from its realistic appearance, tactility and value for money. Panels are available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses and offered with a range of matching 1mm ABS edging. Evenex is also available with a laminate backing in a thickness of 0.6mm for application to curved profiles.
ADVANTAGES
Evenex utilises a new technology known as CLPL® for achieving a realistic timber look. The principal advantages of Evenex over regular laminates are:
- Made of wood fibre, not petrochemical based plastic resins.
- Printing inks do not contain heavy metals.
- Impregnation process is not a bath but via direct contact thereby retaining the clarity of the image.
- Synchronised grain impression produces a 3D effect that replicates real wood.
- An environmentally friendly surface with no added formaldehyde, phenols or solvents.
- No colour difference between flat and curved or profiled details, eg, the same surface can be used for door mouldings and door panel.
- Under lateral impact, it deforms in an elastic way without cracking.
- Australian made panels for Australian made joinery.

MATERIAL HANDLING AND MAINTENANCE
- Evenex is a continuous low-pressure laminate pressed and stocked in 2400mm & 3000mm x 1200mm on 18mm, 25mm or 32mm E0 MRMDF board. The standard thickness of the face laminate is 0.2mm. Other sizes & substrates are available on request.
- Evenex panels do not have a melamine surface but rather a lacquered surface and therefore lower resistance to surface wear and scratching than standard laminates.
- Evenex is recommended for vertical and light horizontal use only.
- DO NOT drag/slide sheets across one another.
- Stack panels onto a flat surface, avoid leaning against walls for a prolonged period to reduce the chance of bowing.
- Evenex is not recommended for outdoor use.
- Clean with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and warm soapy water. DO NOT use harsh chemicals. If you do want to try a chemical, please do so on an off-cut.
- AVOID applying adhesive tapes to the face & back of the Evenex panels as many contain solvents which will affect the material. Heat and a prolonged period of the tape being on the face can also increase the chance of damaging the surface. Should tape need to be used, refer to the Adhesive Tape Report on TESA 4308 tape which can be found under Downloads.
- It is recommended that handles or push plates be installed on Evenex faced doors as pressure from repetitive handling may over time damage surfaces due to abrasion from the transfer of oil, dirt and other materials. Push to open door mechanisms are not recommended without dedicated push plates.
- Finger or hand marks will show less on mid-toned finishes compared to dark toned finishes.
