From the very beginning, the team set a philosophy of being open to any and all ideas that arose through the design process. This mindset opened the door to prototyping, testing and pushing details to their limit. Jean-Pierre Biasol, Founder of Biasol, worked from the inside out, ensuring every subsequent decision – material selection, tolerances, assembly – supported this approach.

Materiality is the project’s engine, with Biasol combining muted, warm beiges to cast a space of softness. The interior features ALPI Eveneer Raw in Xilo White, running floor to ceiling as discreet storage alongside one wall, and across the kitchen and living joinery elements on the other. The team negotiated remarkably tight curves to partition each joinery zone. This, combined with Eveneer profiles in Cremello Reed 6/13, delivers a faceted language where every drawer and door front concludes precisely on a rib.

To achieve such seamless alignment, most notably around integrated Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, Biasol and Mr Cabinets specified a combination of pressed board thicknesses, including 19mm, 21mm and 25mm, alongside one-millimetre paper-backed raw leaf veneer to wrap the curves. The outcome is that all the external planes read as one. The versatility and variety of matching options available in the Eveneer range, allowed Biasol and Mr Cabinets to form surfaces that are both expressive and perfectly engineered.

But as with many projects, it’s the unseen details and unique combinations of materials that make a compelling design narrative. Pocket doors run on Blum hardware, a textural, honed Fibonacci Stone sets a measured base note across the floor, while a mix of different Signorino natural stones thread through the scheme.

Casa Graziano is a collective achievement, proving what’s possible when designers and expert suppliers are invited in early and given time to do their best work.
